Steve Smith needs to go into the Hall of Fame

When he's five years out of retirement... I admire this tough, miniscule, move the chains player, he's played with an atrocity of a quarterback for the majority of his career, and almost single-handedly carried that panthers offense for over a decade, only to continue his greatness with Baltimore...

Rant over, I just love the way this tough undersized guy has played his whole career

yeah, if only he would have had the luxury of a QB like alex smith

He was awful late in his career, but that happens to a lot of good QBs.

Daunte Culpepper, Donovan McNabb, and even... dare I say... Trent Green.

Quite a few receivers ahead of him on the all-time list not in yet. If he does get in, he's going to probably experience a Andre Reed like wait.

Unless he wins a Superbowl before he retires, and even if he does, it's going to take him a while to get in if he ever does.

As a Ute fan it is really neat to see him have the enormous success he has had in the pro's. I went to a game against New Mexico where he returned 5 Kicks for TD's, not sure how many were kicks and how many were punts though. Everyone in the entire stadium was just astounded that the Lobos kept kicking him the ball.
