Well the Chargers are used to quitting early.

Buy.
WTF's the big deal? He's giving the vets the day off and challenging the n00bs to show something. FWIW - I'm really digging the new wart Norf grew on the side of his right nostril. Lookin' good Norf! |
It's bad enough that I have to see these fluffy goody goody feel good story's on the sports page every morning when I open the sports page of the San Diego paper every morning. But when it shows up on the CP it just makes me hate the Chargers even more. :cuss:
|
All things aside, that's pretty sweet that the newspaper is posted on the bb like that.

But really, it's not a bad idea on his part. What's the worst that's going to happen....a slow start? A full camp obviously doesn't help in that department. They are the most established team in this division and need a full camp a hell lot less than other teams. |

Norv sucks Schweatty Balls, but this is a non-story. Coaches do shit like this all the time. Belichick likes to surprise his troops by telling them, at the end of a practice, that if a fat O-lineman can catch a punt they can have the next day off. He also does shit like has the veterans acts as position coaches for a session.
But, as for Norv... I thank the Football Gods every day that he coaches San Diego. With a real coach there, we'd probably be including the Chargers in the discussion with the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts as "multiple AFC Super Bowl winners this past decade". LMAO |
No wonder they start off so slow every year. They don't practice.
