AFC Championship game tickets - presale?

Anyone know of a presale code for the AFC Championship game? Tickets don't go on sale to the public until noon but there is currently a presale. I realize I'm grasping at straws but I figured I would give it a shot. You don't even have to post here and have those Patriot trolls swipe them up, just message me.

007 01-14-2019 11:03 AM

STMAFC but I think it's all sold out now

The code is STMAFC but there's nothing left but singles.

I ended up buying on the reseller market.

ticketmaster.com

Cheapest tickets on there right now are $265.00.

Holy shit. The two tickets in front of where dad and I will be are asking $889.00 each.

Lzen 01-14-2019 11:20 AM

Yeah, it appears they are all gone. I guess I should have asked earlier. Doh! Thanks guys for the info.

My seats would sell for $500 each right now. Crazy.

well fock that's quite a bit more than the STH offering. I wonder if the secondary market will be better than what we can get them for in 15 mins...

Demonpenz 01-14-2019 11:45 AM

I was planning on going but no thanks. I would rather get christmas credit card bills paid down and enjoy the game on my nice 32 inch visio. Maybe even take my family on that vacation we have had our eye on.

RollChiefsRoll 01-14-2019 11:46 AM

lol I'm trying to get 4... pepper mine angus

Sassy Squatch 01-14-2019 11:46 AM

Maybe a couple of days before kickoff when the reality of sitting in freezing weather sets in you might be able to get them cheaper but other than that, nope.

Lzen 01-14-2019 12:03 PM

Welp, I'm in line. 2000+ people in front of me, though. I don't think I'm getting any tickets.

dlphg9 01-14-2019 12:15 PM

Had 500 in front of me and they were somehow out when it got to me. I literally hate people. Now its gonna cost 300 a ticket just to get into the game.

Lzen 01-14-2019 12:16 PM

By the time I got in there it was only resale tix left and they were starting at $250

Marcellus 01-14-2019 12:18 PM

Section 131 row 35. Cost me $464 per ticket. I wasn't sitting up top, not for this game.

That really isn't that bad if you really think about it.

Don't be in a rush, unless travel /accommodation is a concern.

Watch the forecast. With the cold and snowy weather expected that might change some people's plans. This also is probably the big rush, prices will likely moderate later this week due to said weather and not wanting to get stuck with tickets.

On the flip side, I think tickets might disappear quicker than normal for two reasons:

1.) First AFCCG ever at Arrowhead.

2.) NE fans travel well, and the broker prices are probably less that what they are used to paying at face value. Tickets at Gillette are INSANELY expensive.

Yeah I don't mean to be a negative nancy but point #2 is absolutely right. We paid out the ass to see the Chiefs play in Gillette in October and we didn't pay much more than face for the tix.

Yeah, I posted that in another thread. There were tickets held back and distributed randomly all week last week. Same will happen this week, but you have to check at the right time, and be willing to pay an inflated price, as they jack up prices with demand as high as it is.

EX: I'm in 334/4 for this game.

Last week, I saw the same seats go for anywhere from $85 on the low end (before Colts/Texans played) to $210 early-mid last week.

FWIW, I paid $240 plus fees for AFCCG.

I'm 100% convinced they hold seats back to limit the inventory, so they can keep the prices high as well as the demand.

Eleazar 01-14-2019 12:54 PM

lowest prices seemed to be this morning. They've gone up since the resale possibilities ended.

I'm sad to see such high resell values. Pats fans travel well and on average New Englanders have higher disposable incomes. I really hope most of the resells aren't going to a bunch of bloated potato-headed, chowder eating bitches that can't say the letter 'r' properly and produce ginger offspring.

First AFC Championship game at Arrowhead ever. A lot of people have had plenty of time to save for this day. There is no way they come close to painting a section of the stadium anything but red on Sunday.

Have you guys tried ticketsforless.com? They have no fees. I use them exclusively now. They also currently have a promo code AFCCHAMPIONSHIP that knocks $15-20 off the total. I got 2 tickets in upper level, 40-yard line, row 35, for $299 each. That was the best deal I've been able to find.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the case for playoffs. Was under the impression the teams get the gate for playoffs.

Like I said, I could be wrong.

I read somewhere the NFL keeps the entire gate for the playoffs. Teams get to keep concessions and parking.

Yup this is the ONLY game I've ever forked over the money for a plane ticket to attend.

Superbowltrashcan 01-14-2019 06:29 PM

Be calm everyone. Secure your parking pass, decide how much you are willing to spend and if you have to, bring the cash with you out to the stadium on Sunday. You will be able to buy online from resale using a credit card or from scalpers with the cash. Technology has made this process work wonders. I do this regularly for College Football and Basketball as well as concerts. The benevolence of liquored up tailgaters is always amazing!

But I do understand those that want this big detail addressed first. But time is on our side, especially with the current weather forecast. I will be inside on the lower level. No doubt about it!

The NFL’s socialist model continues in the playoffs. Playoff home teams in baseball, basketball and hockey keep anywhere from 50% to 100% of ticket revenues, depending on the sport and the number of games in the series. In football, all gate receipts flow to the league. The New England Patriots generate more than $10 million in gate receipts for each home game, but don’t see a dime of that. Teams get a stipend to cover expenses for each NFL game.

Today from 10am-2pm. See if you can get in.

If you set up an account, put a couple random tickets in your checkout, and back out of it. They’ll send you an email for 10% off.
