Just hope they put player safety above everything. Imagine the backlash if Goff, Gurley, Donald, Cooks , etc tore an ACL while playing down there.

FYP
It isn't right but those players would garnish more of a backlash than Hill, Kelce and Mahomes.

So why is the field in this condition to begin with?

MGRS13 11-13-2018 12:21 PM

Some years ago the patriots installed a synthetic turf field between games. Might have been a two week period. Either way they did it during the season. The nf l can afford to do that then it the stadium can't have that field permanently on account soccer. Donate the field and resod. Yes I'm a liberal donating the NFL 's money but they don't mind getting having citizens pay for their stadiums so screw em plus you know I don't think they would go broke it they did that players safety shouldn't be a motto. Put your money where your mouth is NFL. Plus this is supposed to be a big world class show off. Should they really short the budget.

I'm sure a chiefsplanet mod has infinitely more expertise than a former NFL CEO would.

will the sod even stay down with less than 7 days to setup

seems like i've seen a shitty re-sod job where it was peeling up during the game

I don't recall the game though

Chief Roundup 11-13-2018 12:26 PM

Wasn't there a game several years ago where a coach would not let his team play on the field? IIRC it was Billick that refused to risk his players health because of the condition of the field at the Eagles stadium?

I'd rather see them move the game to LA and play in Firefighter suits.

Boy, if you guys could contain your stupidity to DC, then I wouldn't have to comment on it in the Lounge.

Yeah, not wanting the Chiefs to play in a horrible field in a third world shithole is just the dumbest thing ever.

Maybe you'd be happier as a soccer fan. That shit belongs in the third world.

saphojunkie 11-13-2018 12:36 PM

I have no problem if this turns into a legit home game for LA. It's out of conference, and I think both teams would rather not lose a star to an ACL.
