Your team is going down like a two dollar Tijuanna whore today, MIADragon.

alnorth 04-20-2013 11:41 PM

This should be a fun day. First game is a good pitching matchup, after that is over, I'm a gonna go eat lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, should get back in time for the second match between a decent KC pitcher vs a young intriguing rookie for Boston in his major league debut.

All the emotional terrorist bullshit should be out of the way now. Only serious baseball fans are left, and this should be a very interesting day. I hope, pray, we can at least win one, If we win both and take this series, then as Peter Griffen might say, that would be pretty freakin' sweet.

TLO 04-20-2013 11:49 PM

In for 2 wins.

mr. tegu 04-21-2013 12:18 AM

No reason we can't win two. Definitely got to take the second one in a pitchers ML debut.

Hos and Moose will make him look like Cy Young.

ChiefsCountry 04-21-2013 01:28 AM

Moose has been actually getting good contact and hitting the ball well. You keep doing that they will eventually drop or go over the fence.

suzzer99 04-21-2013 04:22 AM

When is Hosmer going to wake up though?

AussieChiefsFan 04-21-2013 05:09 AM

Congrats on the win yesterday Boston, you deserved it. Now enjoy it while it lasts because KC is coming to win it all :D

suzzer99 04-21-2013 05:42 AM

Not that I didn't want to win, but if there was ever a time that I would be slightly less annoyed at the Royals giving up a late inning lead, yesterday would be that time. But no more. Die tamarrah Bahhstan

BlackHelicopters 04-21-2013 06:14 AM

In for Double header sweep.

ChiTown 04-21-2013 06:23 AM

Hey, here's a novel idea Royals. Score some ****ing runs. Stop swinging the bats like a batch of wounded bundle of stickss

I'll make a prediction. When the bats come alive, the pitching will begin to falter. Mark it.

suzzer99 04-21-2013 06:28 AM

Bats will run hot and cold. When was last time Royals could actually hold the lead though? Our relief pitching is going to kill us.

Royals had the 6th best bullpen in MLB last year. I hope they end up being near that mark again this year. Time will tell

GloryDayz 04-21-2013 07:05 AM

Let's see what emotional tribute they trot out onto the field today and who's the designated Boston cusser for today.

DeezNutz 04-21-2013 07:09 AM

I'm hopeful that another music legend hauls ass to Boston to tarnish his career.

Well, I generally loved the Boston/Boston album, but I hate all things Boston these days (those ****ing pussy-ass assholes!), so I'll ask for that not to happen; some day I might hate Boston a little less and want to listen to the album again...

lewdog 04-21-2013 07:25 AM

I will be watching both games today. If you would have told me we would be 3 weeks into the season and Moose, Hoz and Perez hadn't gone deep, I would have called you dumb.

Just sickening how we have waster a handful of good pitching games with extremely poor hitting, because statistic wise I don't see the pitching continuing down this great road for weeks on end.

mr. tegu 04-21-2013 07:29 AM

I dreamed that we were up 5-0 after four innings in the first game.

lewdog 04-21-2013 10:51 AM

My pregame will consist of wearing my over-sized Moustakas jersey (China special!), with my pro-model Rawlings bat in hand pointing exactly Northeast for exactly 8 minutes. This will bring Moose the bat power to do big things today.

And no I am not superstitious.

Standard lineup in the first game. I presume Perez will sit out the 2nd game.

That's probably the case.

Simplicity 04-21-2013 11:06 AM

We've gotten so much solid starts but yeah the relief is killing us. Maybe because our guys aren't feeling secure with the bats not going as they should? or somethin.

Well whatever it is, they need to un**** themselves and get it going.

confirmed, Kottaras will start game 2

Nightfyre 04-21-2013 11:18 AM

None of our pen looked sharp yesterday. Maybe that's because they had a couple days there where they couldn't throw.

KcMizzou 04-21-2013 11:22 AM

Anyone know if tonight's game will be televised? It's not on my guide.

Over/Under on home runs hit by Moose and Hosmer in 18 innings today = 1.5

Over or under?

I prefer how we do double-headers. In KC, one ticket gets you both games. In Boston, they shoo everyone out, and you need a ticket to get back in.

Coach 04-21-2013 11:34 AM

Even.
