I have never seen anything I thought resembled a hack on ps3. are all the hacks specific to Xbox?

There may already be hacks. It's not Live that is hacked but the game code itself. IW and Activision made a conscious decision to make the MP for the MW2 game peer-to-peer. Users can introduce hacks and mods into the game because of this. With dedicated servers a client check could be initiated at any time during a client/server session, identify hacks, and kick/ban modders. |

I'm thinking its because the Xbox's OS is a lot easier to work with than the PS3 OS. |

Console wars aside, I just wanted to say that CP members starting to play MW2 together was the best thing that could've happened. It has greatly improved the MW2 experience for me.
P.S. Kraus, "I blame my teammates" literally made me "lol" the other night when I saw that. |

Are you seriously trying to imply the PS3 online community is as large as the Live gaming community? |

Cool man, thanks. |

Hey Molitoth, you should play with me some time.
I probably complain a lot more than you do, but I think I have a slow connection when I play with all the mid-westerners because my shit doesn't register half the time. |

A lot of people don't want to pay the $50 for Live, while the PSN is free (for now). |

PSN's largest number was 17mil total, and that included PSP players in the aggregate. On top of that, PSN account creation skews the numbers: don't like your "name", create a new account. Hey, look, Sony's PSN number just increased! PSN has a long way to go. Frankly, I believe they should invest in the infrastructure and start charging as well. Live has free Silver access; PSN should provide a low-cost Gold service as well. |

I have not paid more than $30 for an annual Gold Live subscription. |
