Why don't you put all that saved up money to work? If you're smart about it, you will come out on top even after having to pay your mortgage with whatever interest it is you're paying.

Haven't been in debt for 5 years.

Most people know when they are broke. Some people are broke and they don't even know it.

If you short sell they will come after you for the balance.... They could garnish your wages if you don't file BK if you file BK you won't get another house...

It's best to do the honest thing and pay any debt you owe... The housing market will turn around eventually, be patient

The problem with you is that you fail to realize that 99% of the members here don't give a **** about you or your financial situation.

I don't give a **** what you think or believe. I know what I do and how I do it. I'm sure as **** not scanning any bills, LOL. If a dumbass like you thinks that credit cards are evil, it's because you don't know how to use them or how they work.

I don't even know what you mean by broke. Do I have debt, yes? Is it credit card debt? No. Do I have savings? Yes. Do I live paycheck to paycheck? No.

Just because I make payments every month, doesn't mean I'm broke, but I can understand how a simpleton like you might not understand that.

Do me a debt to income ratio then, if you added up every bill you have, how much of a % of your NET pay does this equate to?

i've been using credit cards for extras like rewards points since 1994 and haven't once paid $.01 of interest.

It's different every month, depending on how much I spend using my credit card. But I make enough to pay all my bills and still have enough left over to put in savings. Eventually those savings will be invested. I'm 25, so hopefully I still have some time.
