I wasn't aware this was still going forward. Read that it's getting a lot of backlash, especially from the Tate family.

Debra Tate met with Tarantino, read the script and surprisingly signed off on the deal.

Full go.

Didn't care for Django Unchained, but...I will watch this one.

If I want to feel nauseous I'll think of Vance Joseph.

He can do plenty of that without her, he is very talented at that kind of thing.

I hope Burt's scenes were already in the can.

IIRC, aside from Leo and Brad Pitt, his casting was one of the first they announced. So I guess they maybe shot his scenes first and it was more of a small supporting role? I think the same thing happened with Twin Peaks and the actress who played Log Lady.

He's playing George Spahn, the old man who owned the ranch where Manson and his psycho hippies were living. It would definitely be a small part.

Quentin Tarantino is named after the Burt Reynolds Character he played on the TV show Gunsmoke.

Just read that REYNOLDS hadn’t filmed his role yet. That sucks RIP Burt

ahh **** :(

That's too bad - it's a role he would have enjoyed. Manson assigned a couple of his loyal bimbos to attend to Spahn's... uh, needs, primarily to keep the old man happy so he wouldn't question or interfere with the Family's activities.

Squeaky got her nickname from the way she used to 'squeak' when ol' George would pinch her thigh.

Ain't mad at him.

there weren't any 'psycho hippies' out there...there WERE some FBI plants PRETENDING to be 'psycho hippies'.

Let's play trivia :

Who did Robert Kennedy have dinner with the night he was assassinated?

(BTW - Sirhan Sirhan couldn't have fired the fatal shot.)

Anyone ever heard of MKUltra??
