Some Facts About International Gravel
Many countries have gravel.
Some countries don't have much gravel, though. Like, for example, the US exports gravel to Japan. Countries with rivers have River Gravel. Countries with big rocks can mash them up and make Crushed Gravel. Some countries make gravel roads just like we do over here in America. Some countries use gravel to make patios and walkways and gravel places like that. Some countries belong to an organization called EMSAGG which stands for the European Marine Sand and Gravel Group. This organization helps find gravel and figures out ways to use the gravel once they've found it. A half-ton of York Cream Gravel costs about £75.60 in the UK whereas Scottish Beach Pebbles cost more, about £86.20 which includes a Value Added Tax of 20 percent. FAX Disclaimers: Sorry if repost. |
