Well shit. Injuries.

Starters/serious contributors who've gone down with injuries:

RB Peyton Hillis
WR Dexter McCluster
TE Kevin Boss
C Rodney Hudson
DE Glenn Dorsey
NT Anthony Toribio
CB Brandon Flowers (1 game)
FS Kendrick Lewis

Well, balls.

Necessary question: have we been hit the hardest with injuries this year? We gotta be somewhere in the Top 5.

I'm sincerely worried that Roleo has not and is not demanding that his players adhere to an appropriate conditioning regimen.

These aren't ACLs or freak injuries. In a lot of these cases, they are problems that could have been avoided if the players were stronger, more flexible, and in better overall shape. It's an old saw ... but, when you get tired, you get hurt. Plus, everybody knows that things like groins and hamstrings can often be completely avoided if you're training properly.

Camp Haley isn't looking too bad now, huh?

Huh? How many players went out last year with injuries?

Not nearly as many this early in the season and ACL's don't count. But if you say that then I guess you can't count Casselitis either.

There are some things you can do to help prevent the kind of ACL injury you might suffer under normal conditions. But when you go down like Berry or Charles, there's nothing you could have done that would have made a difference.

But those injuries are absolutely not the same thing at all compared to stuff like hammies and groins and other basic muscle group pulls. At this level, these guys should be extremely strong and extremely flexible. If they're in proper condition and warm up correctly, those injuries should be rare. If they're not, Roleo damn sure isn't doing the players any favors if he's taking it easy on their conditioning. In fact, he could well be shortening their careers. It's stupid, lazy, and flat-out wrong. His fat, donut extruded ass is getting in the way of his thinking and his job.

Cassel directly injured several of those guys with shitty passes.

Excuses for Pioli, got it.

Losing the guys on that list shouldn't cause us to be a bad football team. That's all I have to say.

We're gonna be a bad football team with them or without them based on the relative strength of our most important positions.

Failoli's "true roster" never had a chance. Better give him a 4-year extension to prove his real worth.

mcaj22 09-27-2012 08:13 PM

there is like 1 maybe 2 good players on that list if that.

those arent big losses.

notorious 09-27-2012 08:13 PM

Not going anywhere anyway.

O.city 09-27-2012 08:15 PM

Hudson boss and Hillis at the for sure outs. Next man up, no excuses

The guys on the list for the most part aren't killers. It's when you start losing multiple guys at one spot that hurts you

O.city 09-27-2012 08:17 PM

Dorsey hurts a lot if he out the next two weeks. Need him to stop the running gamea
