Those numbers are meaningless in this discussion. Lots of players have racked up impressive numbers in the college game and gone onto careers...of selling insurance and an early trip into broadcasting.

Tebow had a 177.68 college QB Rating for his career. Jason White went undrafted so obviously his game didn't translate to the NFL. Tim Tebow was drafted by the games best QB guru in the FIRST round.

I keep hearing you Bronco fans tout McDaniels as some great QB guru but what is the evidence to support that? Matt Cassel's one season in NE? Surely, McDaniels doesn't get credit for Tom Brady. Or does he?

Tom Brady had the best 4 years of his career after McDaniels started working with him, he turned a QB who hasn't started a game since high school into a $60,000,000 QB, Kyle Orton played like a Pro Bowl QB his first year working with McD, and the Patriots offense took a big step back last year because McD wasn't there.

Hmm.

I thought I heard on NFL Network that last year Brady had his second best season.

The Patriots offense was better last season then in '08.

Charlie Weis coordinated an offense with Troy Brown and David Givens to 3 Super Bowl titles while Mcbundle of sticks couldn't win 1 with Moss and Welker.
