Well, unless somebody brought up having sex with your own child. Then I guess we KIND of brought up Brady... |
Some of these posts appear to belong in a random-thought thread thing.
Still, I honestly believe that NFL teams should have the right to politely decline when scheduled to play on a terrible field (like, for example, the Faider's Petri dish). Hundreds of millions of dollars invested in coaches and players and you put the franchise at risk by forcing them to play in a weedy parking lot? The league should be ashamed (as if they had any shame at all). Then their executives should be caged with 40 or so starving anacondas. FAX |

Oh shit that's a winner! |
I had kind of dismissed this as being one of those issues that would be worked out and be fine in the end, but this is starting to make me wonder...
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Discussions continue about whether Monday night’s Chiefs-Rams game will be played in Mexico City, LA or postponed, per sources. NFL determined to play it Monday night in Mexico City, but the field is “a mess” and might not be safe for players. It’s a significant concern.</p>— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1062378386948009984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 13, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Man would I be pissed if I booked a trip to Mexico City to watch the Chiefs/Rams and the game got moved.
