When your GM calls your Qb to tell him about the coach he's hiring and has to tell said QB "don't be a problem", well, you may have an issue.

As good as Rodgers is, man he's a damn headcase.

Million dollar arm and a five cent head.

Being a prima donna is not the same thing as being a headcase. Jameis Winston is a headcase. Aaron Rodgers is a prima donna

Yeah, I don't think he's dumb. He's obviously very intelligent.

Also, if you're Matt LaFleur reading that, do you think about what you've got yourself into?

Green Bay was also hurt by Ted Thompson's over-reliance on the draft and rarely using free agency or trades as an opportunity for personnel upgrades.

Really makes you appreciate Pat as a person. All these great QBs are massive douches...Rodgers, Marino, Elway, Peyton, Wilson, I could go on.

We lucked the **** out in more ways than one.

That's a really good article, they should have multiple rings. That conference has been awful for so long, Green Bay should have been New Englanding it for the last eight years.

I got to say my mind has changed by Peyton. My Co-Workers kid got severely injured in a Mower Accident. Peyton called him up and talked with the 5 year old for 10-15 minutes. It made his day. I thought it was supper cool.

Frazod 04-04-2019 09:39 AM

I really hope Pat never turns into an asshat like Rodgers.

Patrick definitely seems to be a high character guy, but often these guys aren't full of themselves when they're drafted. It's a decade at the top of their profession that makes them arrogant. Fame and fortune will change almost everyone for the worse.

Of course that came standard on some guys like Smellway

Sadly true but I think Pat has the benefit of having good parents who he seems to adore. I imagine they will keep his head on straight even when the fame hits, his dad especially - he knows the pressure of the limelight.

Every locker room has stories to tell. With enough success, we'll get ours too someday.

Also, Patrick Mahomes' name made into this story. Yup....just wanted to point that out.

Pat grew up with success. He's always been at the top. He was good at everything he did and he hung out with guys like Derek Jeter. All he knows really, is success.

Unlike Aaron Rodgers, Pat's drive does not come from insecurity. He has confidence in spades because he's always enjoyed success.

It's insecurity that makes these guys act the way they do. What they call a "Chip on his shoulder". Pat doesn't have that.
