My only question is, is the story mode playable online with a friend? Is story mode offline or online?

Could you play coop story on GTA V? I can't remember. I would assume you couldn't in this since there's only one protagonist and the western genre lends itself to more of a loner story telling style.

Then again, it's Rockstar and I can imagine them surprising us with an awesome coop mode.

You couldn't in GTA V.

And the last iteration of RDR Online gameplay never did it for me. I couldn't get into it.

This online mode will obviously be more robust so hopefully i can get into it. Loved GTA V's online mode.

This game will have an online component to it similar to GTA Online...story mode isn't playable online or with friends.

Same. I'm looking at used XBox One units on Facebook Marketplace right now. Finding quite a few decent ones for ~$150.

I guess the only problem is I can't get this older xbox to play on older tv's works on one visio and doesn't work on others.

Heres my advice unless you are buying the X and have a 4k tv it's probably better to go playstation.

The PS version seems to be the better one unless of course you care about native 4k which only the X can do.

They've really ****ed up our internet.. No personal devices are allowed on the net whatsoever, so I'll be playing solo for the foreseeable future. :(
