Part of me thinks Self should be doing more publicity and catering to the egos of the top recruits. But then I think that Self knows what he is doing and what kind of team he wants to build – talented but hungry kids who will work hard on D and stick around for 3 or 4 years. I doubt he is nearly as upset about missing out on 1-and-doners as the KU fan base is.

This 30 for 30 about KU and the Naismith Rules... will be HUGE for recruiting. IMO.

wow, that got me so pumped for this year. last year was a great run for our team even though we didnt win the championship, to make it that far was just remarkable, t-rob and tyshawn are gone but their is leadership on this team to pick up the reigns, this years title of this team should be unfinished business, its elijahs and withey team now, it is time for them to bring home the 4th ncaa championship to kansas, this team is loaded with talent and has the ability.

What's great is that even if we fall short this year, we have so much talent coming in that we can reload and try again. I am in awe of Self's recruiting. Very exciting time to be a fan.

Self has been actively recruiting the top kids still. Don't kid yourself.
