I lost my mom today
 

I haven't posted much in a while, but I always considered this place a great spot to vent, get things off my chest that I couldn't take to social media.

The day I never wanted to come came today for me. My Mom passed away this morning after a few month struggle with various ailments.

She was far too young, 60, for this, but if you're the praying/good thoughts, I'd appreciate some for my mom.

It was sudden and I expected her to pull through. We are all pretty crushed - my kids, who were the lights of her life, especially.

Thoughts here... that's all I can (and will) say

Damn. 60 is far too young. But it sounds like she had some damn good grandchildren to brighten her final days.

I know what you are going through. My Mom passed on New Years Eve this year. Her Birthday is tomorrow. Going to be a long day. This time last year, my wife and I were taking her to New Orleans for her 75th Bday. A year later and I am left missing her.
