New thread, new year. Sherman talks downtown stadium. I think that is a decent spot for a stadium. Shitty thing is you won't get any downtown skyline views.

Well how many times have we had official Royals threads with the **** and ****? How many of those threads have resulted in playoff appearances. 2. Maybe the ****, **** combo is holding this team back?

Because our midwest culture is built on driving yourself everywhere, the KC road system is laid out to get around easily, and our mass transit is garbage.

Throw in the 'I can't light my grill up in a parking garage' crowd and that's what you get.

Boringest off season ever. I mean ****ing Maikel Franco was DFA'd and we are thumping out chest while saying we can't compete with the payroll in minnesota and the south side. I mean the team 10x its value in 20 years... it's not losing money.

Re: The stadium... typical KC hoping on the downtown bandwagon 30 years too late.

Why do people want a downtown stadium? People want to get rid of everything that make Kauffman stadium what it is.
