UNC v Temple isn't really doing it for me so far today, but I'm definitely interested in the other 3 this afternoon/evening before that (lol) Cheez it bowl.

Tomorrow should be a fantastic day of football. We get to watch two pedophile enabling programs get beat, then see Heisman Joe smoke the gooners, then turn around and watch at least one great game.

Why Not? 12-27-2019 12:39 PM

Excited for the playoffs. Hawaii Bowl was a success so it’s all gravy to me!

When did Iowa State enable pedophiles? Larry Eustachy’s controversy was with college girls.

Am I wrong that bowl games used to be big deals 10 years ago but aren't so much anymore?

They seem to be more about getting ready for next year than any pride in actually winning, and a lot of top draft prospects sit out.

That's because there is a million of them.

Although it is soothing that there are so many but nebraska doesn't qualify for any.

Well the big ones are still a big deal, and the CFP matters quite a bit.

This Military Bowl with UNC winning 55-13..nope, not a big deal. Buncha the other ones won't be worth a shit. But it is free football. And it's fine to watch on a Friday afternoon drinking beer so I con't complain.

how many bowls are there now? has it surpassed 50?

Mennonite 12-27-2019 05:26 PM

40.

I used to love bowl season but there are just too many now. Are there any 5-7 teams in one this year? Pathetic

I’d have 12-15 Bowl games not including an 8 team playoff for the national championship.

Change the Bowl eligibility to 7 wins instead of 6.
