Anyone here an Accountant? Need some help

With the stimulus.

To date. My 19 year old has not received a dime of Covid stimulus and I did not receive any extra for having a child dependent.

File your taxes. It will calculate what you're (and the kid) is supposed to receive and you enter what you got and you get a refundable tax credit for the difference (if there is one).

FWIW, I think you stop getting dependent credit at 17. Not sure about the stimulus. I THINK if he's listed as your dependent you should have got it.

With that kind of money, it's probably worth your time to go talk to a tax preparer and get it right.

Two $1200.00 and one $600.00 stimulus,is what they've handed us peasants to date?

If you got two $1200 checks, then you got one for her.

IIRC? Everyone got a 1200.00 check plus 500 more if you had a kid.

Yes, but that's not what you asked. Plus, if you got money for having a kid, then the kid doesn't get money as well.

What exactly have you received so far?

1200.00 the first round
And 600.00 this last round.
Cant remember if we had a round inbetween?

No, nothing in between but a endless cascade of political blather.

It's my understanding that the stimulus was based on 2019 tax returns, did she have a job in 2019 and file a return?

And if she did, did she receive a refund? And if so, was the refund direct deposited into a bank account?

When did she turn 19?
For you to claim as dependent, she must be 18 or younger on the last day of the tax year. You can still claim as a dependent until age 23 if a full-time student.

I can tell everyone is getting older. A thread like this pops up and everyone gives actual sound financial advice instead of saying “worthless without pics of daughter”.

She dose not turn 19 tell April 30th.
She has been working since she was 16.
Her tax returns have come via the mail

Look at how tight you two old buddy old pals are now

LMAO

FYI the $1,200.00 you got last year is an advanced tax credit towards 2020 tax year. The $600.00 was the stimulus check.

Pretty sure they both were advanced tax credits, and both would be considered stimulus checks. They are just handled as advanced tax credits so they have no income tax liability.
