Rank Bono, Grbac, and Cassel

This is the easiest question of the day.

1. Grbac - Not the greatest game awareness, but he had a legit arm.
2. Bono - Just kind of there. He was like the fish sandwich at McDonald's.
3. Cassel - He was the Matt Cassel of quarterbacks.

What I want to know is, when is Ricky Siglar going to break his?

Still waiting for the Trezelle Jenkins ‘tell all’ novel

Grbac clearly had the most talent, but he was a complete douche and a terrible leader. To this day it burns my ass that Marty started that prick over Gannon in that playoff game. Still probably the worst day of my life.

Yeah, but he was a certified stud muffin.

Grbac was mentally soft as well.

Yeah that was a terrible moment in Chiefs history.

I’ll never forget it to this day; it still pains me that Marty chose Grbac over Gannon. Had Gannon started throughout the playoffs, I think we at least beat the Donks.

We were the only team that gave them a game. They smoked everybody else.

So many horrible things about that game. The cooking spray. The phantom hold that cost us the field goal. The game winning catch that the ref$ ruled out of bounds. **** :#:#:#:#:#

True. You’re right Frazod.

It seems like the refs were real biased that game. That was a hard loss as a Chiefs fan. Tough times man.

He had talent and to his credit he had some really good games as a Chief.

But your right, he was mentally soft. I remember he had the big year statistically in 2000, then went to the Ravens coming off the Super Bowl. They expected big things from him and he just went limp. They had a solid team and he couldn’t even live up to Trent Dilfer Standards. I always got the impression he was one of those guys who didn’t love the game much. It was just a job to him.

Leave it to Chiefs fans to yearn for a QB who only "succeeded" in a scheme we never ran and who threw 5 interceptions in the most important game of his life. There were only bad choices that day. It is the Mahomes era!

That's why God gave Marty alzheimers

Steve Bono was not a “bad” QB for the Chiefs no matter how much people wanted him to be. He was a decidedly average QB who was saddled with a sh*t OC and terrible wideouts. He made the best out of a situation where he was asked to do too much in -10 degree weather given his skill set. He was a career backup who was thrust into a starting role and did an adequate job.

That said, he didn’t do himself any favors with the town.

We would have gotten to the AFCCG with him (at the very least) had Hackett not gone all derp against the Colts

BlackHelicopters 09-21-2019 05:09 AM

Anyone heard from Percy Snow?

alpha_omega 09-21-2019 05:16 AM

Looks like he’s gonna throw
Please don’t Steve Bono!
