I ran my first snow race of the winter last weekend in Colorado. It started raining at Mile 3, and at Mile 5 I started seeing snowflakes. It came down pretty good for about 20 minutes. I was not expecting that.

I35 from olathe to KC becomes a parking lot when it rains. I'd imagine tonight it will be a 2 hr commute
