I don't know about you but it sounds like a hit to me.

I agree that most normal hit-men are much better shooters and I suspect this was a low level thug and was probably crapping his pants the whole time.

I don't have any knowledge of the situation but when a perp breaks into a house and nothing is reported missing it generally means that what the perp actually took was illegal in the first place. I know the young man just died. This is just speculation on the breakin. I'm not trying to piss on his memory.

This was the first thing that popped into my mind. Either a hit by someone who isn't studying Ludlum books or a dispute with someone close to Taylor. SI had an article of the problem athletes have shaking the bad from their ghetto roots and I wonder if that same concept has any bearing here. Maybe someone of less than law-abiding bent that was close who ST wrong or thought he wronged.

Why?!? Everyone who earns over $3.00 per hour has a cell phone.

Because phone lines are generally how alarms notify the authorities.

No doubt that could be as well and he could have been mixed up with some shady characters or owed someone some money.

Ahhh. I'd know these things if I weren't such a cheap bastard.

Oh....if Taylor had chopped up a home intruder....I'd have thought he was well within his rights to protect his family. Unlike Mcann, Jettio and co, I think he had that right.

Its really unfortunate that the home owner got the worst end in this situation. Anyone should be safe while sleeping in their own home.

My condolences to his family. In this situation, it is a tragedy that the child no longer has a productive father in his life.

I hope they catch the guilty and they ride the lightening.

You are such a dishonorable coward to misrepresent people's statements.

Not too late for you to learn to read, coward. Give that a try.

Probably too late for you to learn honor, you Chickensh*t.

I don't know what was going on in his personal life so I can't and won't comment on that. What I can say is that I actually liked watching the kid play football. You can tell that he was bringing it every play...and I'm going to miss seeing that. He was definitely a great player and was only going to get better. He was one of the main reasons why I didn't mind watching Redskins games. RIP Sean Taylor.....you'll be missed.

What else can you say except rest in peace and condolences to the family.

Sad for a young life to get taken away.

Well said. Few of us know any of these guys personally. I've met and interacted with tons of Chiefs personally and I don't really know any of them. It's a tragedy no matter what the circumstances. I definitely admired his game.

Oh give me a ****ing break. If you're so full of honor, then why are you arguing about what was said on the same thread when it's only been a couple hours since Taylor passed? That's just as dishonorable.

Thank you for bringing some common sense to this thread, and not automatically assuming that because the guy had a well publicized scrape with the law he's thereby guilty of any malady that could befall him and his family.

There is a difference between honor and indiscretion.

It might not be the classy thing to answer the inappropriate post of a gutless lying chickensh*t like Iowanian in kind in this thread, but he picked this inapproporiate forum to tell his chickensh*t lies.

Brock 11-27-2007 09:23 AM

Yay, jettio.

Chiefnj2 11-27-2007 09:28 AM

Michael Wilbon of ESPN had a live chat yesterday and he opined that he wasn't surprised at all and that Taylor was still embracing the thug-like life.
