Actually I was being too kind to Daboll in 2010... the Browns were actually 31st in total offense in 2010, 29th in passing offense.

So the Chiefs are bringing in an offensive coordinator with offenses ranked 32nd, 31st and 22nd on his resume during his only three seasons coordinating an NFL offense.

Good luck Fat Scott and Romeo trying to sell that pile of shit to the masses.

Daboll is an awful hire if it turns out to be true....but he is probably better than Brian Schottenheimer.

Henne is on his way, dont you worry.

Maybe Pioli misheard people at the sports bar saying, "If you want to score, you have to have Daboll."

This isn't exactly a guy with a great performance record. I think the idea of taking an unknown guy is that you take an unknown guy who's been doing great things, not an unknown guy who lives near the bottom of the rankings.

LOL Kent Babb thinks this is a "brilliant hire"...

BASED ON WHAT?!?!?

R8RFAN 02-03-2012 11:51 PM

Guaranteed Sellout every game next season

KC Hawks 02-03-2012 11:51 PM

I have no idea if Daboll is a good OC or not, but you can't really base it all on his previous team's offensive rankings. Four years ago Josh McDaniels was the OC of the best offense in the NFL, and this past year he was the OC of the 32nd ranked offense. Hmmm...I wonder why.

But I definitely agree that it's an uninspiring hire.

I had heard rumors they were going to bring in Hue Jackson and Al Saunders to basically try and fix the offense.

That would at least be trying.

This?

Pathetic.

I'd rather they'd promoted Zorn.

O.city 02-03-2012 11:55 PM

When we go 5 and 11 next year and have one of the worst ranked offenses in the league behind Matt Cassel, there is no way Pioli is brought back.

Especially after the 70 percent full Arrowheads, whichi is stretching whats gonna happen.
