Sorry if Q...another piece of history for Andy Reid.
I was thinking about this today in the car. When the Chiefs win on Sunday, Andy Reid will have taken 2 different teams to the Super Bowl.
That would put him in with Bill Parcells, Dick Vermeil, Mike Holmgren, and Dan Reeves. I was also thinking maybe Don Shula (confirmed). I forgot about John Fox. So Andy Reid would be the 7th. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...to-super-bowl/ |

How many have gone with a team from each conference?
Hoisting a Halas, Hunt, and Lombardi? |

Fox was Panthers and Broncos. Reeves was Falcons and Broncos. |
If we win the SB this year.....that cements Reid in the Hall of Fame.

I think a SB loss and he'll need a bit more. |

He can be the 2nd Eagles Coach who lost a Super Bowl and then win a Superbowl with a Missouri team.

I think a win on Sunday cements him in the HOF. Taking 2 teams, one from each conference, to a Super Bowl is very rare.
He’s also 7th in all time wins and will be 6th next year (2 wins behind Chuck Knoll). Super Bowl win definitely puts him as a top 10 coach of all time. Not sure about top 5 though. |
