Allen Bailey aiming for 10+ sack season
Allen Bailey, KC Chiefs DE, aiming for 10+ sack season
By Joel Thorman on Jun 18 2013, 10:05a Doug Pensinger KC Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey says he's aiming for 10-plus sacks this season. Allen Bailey has been a bit of a forgotten man in the Kansas City Chiefs defense. The third-year defensive end came into the league the same year as Justin Houston but it's been Houston, not Bailey, who has made a leap as a pass rusher. Don't tell that to Bailey, though. He said on this podcast, The Trapasso Report, that his goal is a 10-plus sack season. "Of course staying healthy," Bailey said when asked his goals for the 2013 season. "Then try to get a 10-plus sack season. Rolling into my third year, with a new defense that's more of an attack defense that allows you to make a lot more plays, I'm setting myself up with a 10-plus sack season." Bailey has one career sack so that would be one hell of a jump if he surpassed 10 sacks. Tamba Hali and Justin Houston rushing from the edges, Allen Bailey putting up 10 sacks ... now THAT would be a hell of a defense. http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2013/6...hiefs-10-sacks |
He might be aiming for it, but he'll miss.
However, it's good that he at least AIMS for something greater. |

Yeah, I think this season, my goal is to aim for mediocrity. I hope I can do enough to remain on the team, I just don't want to make a ton more money.

I forgot this guy was even on the team.

He'll get his ten sacks when DBowe leads the league in pass reception TDs....
|
I'm aiming to date Kate Upton.

"attacking style defense" gives me wood. Doubt he'll get even half that, but Romeo's sit there and let the offense dictate the game to you defense sucked.
|
why all the hate on him saying that? I don't get it, what do you want him to do suck? I hope he does breakout, I feel like he did have a good rush when he was able to.
