lmao

Nurturing him while holding him back. It's a conspiracy! A conspiracy of mediocrity!

It's just never going to end until it's over, I've learned.

A good quarterback and winning. Happiness is just that close.

I didn't know that marcellus was coordinating for the Chiefs this year. At least I know who to PM suggestions and complaints to now.

Sure. Jim Harbaugh purposely held back Alex Smith from doing things he wanted his offense to do and thought Alex Smith could do, but as soon as Kaerpernick was the started, he decided it was time to go for it.

Common strategy employed by successful coaches.

I'm sure the change in the Niners offense when Kaepernick took over was all because of that and had nothing to do with his different skills and abilities. Sure.

All I have to say is, whenever I hear ****ing ANYONE use the defense "he's a proven winner" to describe a QB, it makes me think of the same defense that was used for Matt Cassel and Tim Tebow.

Gotta let the backyard baller do his thing while he learns. When in doubt, run really fast +/or pitch the ball up deep!

A lot of you are going to be eating crow this season...

GoChargers 07-31-2013 03:26 PM

They forgot to print the whole comment: "He's the best in the league.... at checking down, panicking under pressure, taking sacks, and having zero effect on wins and losses."

Up until that last part, I was going to say that he can't possibly compete with Matt Cassel. But Cassel definitely had an effect on wins and losses.

Well, losses anyway. The sample size of wins isn't large enough to draw any conclusions.

Nothing would make me happier than Alex Smith turning into a star.

Just let me know anything you need Deez.

Fritz88 07-31-2013 04:38 PM

That's a pretty big statement. It's worrisome actually.
