Will Anyone Opt Out for KC in 2021?

This came up the Rodgers thread. You can opt out again this year, no questions asked. Will Rodgers? I don't know and don't care. I hate the Packers.

I do care about the Chiefs. Nobody expected LDT or Damien to do it last year.

Will we get a July 2nd surprise?

Frank Clark is trying.

He was actually my first thought.

The only players that will be "opting" out will be camp cuts that have no choice.

FloridaMan88 06-25-2021 08:13 PM

Lev Bell will “opt-out” to save face after getting rejected by the entire league.

There are a few Chiefs fans who I wish would opt out of life…

With the vaccine out and all that. I'd say no.

MMXcalibur 06-26-2021 01:15 AM

Tommy Townsend might sit the whole year.

....because our offense never gets to a 4th down.

I doubt Clark will. This is his “stall legal proceedings for a year” year. He needs to earn while he can. Can’t really see anybody else opting out. I’d say league-wide it will be viewed as a way of saying “**** you” to your team. Outside of Rodgers and Watson I’m not sure who else is lining up to make that declaration.

Assuming all players are OK taking the jab

Opting out was weak for any player. Millions worked through the entire pandemic and theses pussies can't play a game?

Personal choice. Each had their reasons. They are free to do whatever they want. They don’t owe you a damn thing.

This is what I'm thinking as well. I'm kind of shocked the owners agreed to it. I think Rodgers is definitely going to use this to sit out.

Are there any other guys pissed off right now?
