Isn't it just ****ing amazing how the Patriots run sneaks like that all the time with Brady and he never gets hurt? I mean shit, they ran ****ing 2 in a row last Thursday bc Tom Terrific wanted another rushing TD. Not trying to derail this thread and make it about him but goddamnit, the Chiefs are a cursed franchise...

You simply do not run a QB sneak with a QB who's dealing with a chronic high ankle sprain.

It's entirely dependent upon the underlying damage to the ligaments and cartilage in his knee.

Dear God, it's a QB sneak. I don't think I've ever seen a QB get injured on a QB sneak.

mlyonsd 10-17-2019 07:29 PM

For all the QB sneaks I've ever seen in my 59 years this is the only one I can remember that caused an injury to the QB.

They don't play again until next Sunday night so hopefully there's no ligament damage and he can get back.

comochiefsfan 10-17-2019 07:30 PM

Unbelievable. As an organization you have one job. Protect the franchise.

**** you Brett Veach and **** you Andy Reid.

RetiredSeniorChief 10-17-2019 07:30 PM

Over 50 years of watching football, I've never seen a QB seriously injured on a Sneak. Just follow the center's ass and fall down.

With that said, if Mahomes is done for the year I have no interest in the NFL for the rest of the year.

DaFace 10-17-2019 07:30 PM

Lots of idiots in this thread. If a QB sneak is so dangerous, teams wouldn't run it. They do. All the time. And they rarely result in injuries.

Just wipe your vaginas and accept that shit happens.

jimidollar 10-17-2019 07:30 PM

This is just the most because Chiefs ever.
