It takes most of the fun out of the bikini dance thread.

Most, not all.

RIP and yes, MS is no laughing matter. Such a shame. She was considered a very nice person in Hollywood.

Didn't know who she was until today.

Annette Funicello was Italian, born to Italian immigrants.

Matzo balls are a Jewish delicacy and are made from meal, not beef.

And they are not spicy.

That's a balcony you could do Shakespeare from...

houstonwhodat 04-08-2013 08:28 PM

She was actually dead a long time ago.

They just officially pulled the plug today.

MeatRock 04-08-2013 08:34 PM

I have no clue how old you are. I forget that younger people won't get these older references. If you older than 40 then you should remember the Alka Seltzer commercials as they were pretty darn funny. If you are under 40, then you probably never saw them so yes, my reference would be lost on you. I simply played with the word "meatball" to "mahtsaball", while the Alka Seltzer commercials use the original word.

Again, if you have to explain something, then it isn't funny...

And I know all about Annette Funicello. I watched her as a Mouseketeer live and in living black and white on the home TV. I never missed an episode of the Mickey Mouse Club, although probably reruns by the time I watched them.

M-I-C... See you real soon. K-E-Y... Why, because he likes you. M-O-U-S-E.
