Last night was a great example of why I've been gaga for Ian Kennedy for a while.

You pair his aggressiveness in the strike with his ability to miss bats, a great flyball pitcher ballpark, and the best defense in baseball, and you're going to have a successful mix.

I loved that he was keeping his pitch count down. I'm assuming he's good at that since he's an innings eater. It would be nice if Ace could do the same.

Was there as well with my father. Such an awesome game, a bit cool temp-wise near the end but well worth it.

Looks awesome. Was unaware of the CP outage. I couldn't watch Royals last night. Was at a Cubs/Dbacks BBQ to watch Greinke pitch like shit again.

I guess we have been spoiled by just how great the Royals defense has been the last few years.

Not going to today's game LOL, "Scout Day at the K" and our troop waited too long to get tix. Ugh, we failed the kids to say the least!!! That being admitted, I think Lew needs to start the thread. Especially since I'll be multitasking 'round-the-house (yard, carpets, de-stinking hockey gear (!!!!)), so I may not be 100% engaged.

Yeah, that game absolutely highlighted the benefits of a good defense. I was only really half watching by the end given the score, but Wang didn't look too impressive to me, although he got a K to end it.

Kennedy was the worst fa signing on several lists ROFL.

Let's give him a bit of time to wash-off that Yankee/Nats/Blue Jay skank, but you're not wrong. Let's hope they settle-in after the Royals clubhouse KARMA permeates his body.

And Soria also has a little settling-in to do too, and I hope it all happens soon.
