Is this correct?

I don't think that's correct...

Only for coaches under contract. Iirc

:hmmm:

I don't know

anyway ... Mortenson just said "The biggest intrigue around the NFL is that Reid is expected to lure Packer's director of football operation John Dorsey to be the teams' General Manager. Reid and Dorsey, who is considered one of the leagues best talent evaluators, are tight from their days in Green Bay together. And as a side note, Dorsey's wife is a lawyer for a Kansas City firm and also went to the University of Kansas ... don't underestimate the wife factor."

I think we all know who to root for now.
Let's go Minnesota! A quick exit for the Packers means getting Dorsey locked up by mid-week. Then Reid can start rounding out his coaching staff.

maybe he will be the big dog at his next job and will be happy at this stop just getting some experience (but he's getting that already with a Super Bowl contender) and working with this friend?

Just seems a stretch. Maybe its the Chiefs fan in me, nothing works out for us.

Are you ****ing kidding me? We have Clark Hunt, he refuses to strike out.

Rooney Rule-satisfying interview in KC will be Ray Farmer. Team will interview its current director of pro personnel for its vacant GM job.

Go Vikings!

Such an embarrassing rule.

I saw that Farmer is getting an interview with the Browns, too. He's pretty highly regarded. Definitely someone who can weed out the guys who refuse to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

I agree. Sometimes I think the rule makes it more embarrassing for minority coaches than not having the rule.

Sometimes. But the rule has helped Dungy, Tomlin, Lovie get HC jobs probably

Mr_Tomahawk 01-05-2013 05:08 PM

Didn't Dorsey meet with the Jets yesterday?

...anyone know how that went?
