What? He's been at 4.0 YPC his entire career. One preseason doesn't change eveything for him. Besides, he's not even starting.

Now, Jamaal's 2011 I can see him outdoing.

I'm aware of what he's done in the past and I'm not saying that he is some great RB. I'm just saying that there is a chance that he explodes this season because of the new offense. He might not, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he does come in and average 5+ yards per carry and begins to start stealing a lot of carries/snaps from CJ Anderson at some point this year.

Just to reemphasize, I understand the skepticism about Hillman, but don't be surprised if he has a breakout year this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if he comes in, fumbles the ball and finds his way right back to the bench.

That has happened in the past and could happen again this year. But something closer to my scenario is more likely IMO.
