Top 20 in FBS? What the hell are you talking about? I'm talking about coaching, not getting hand-picked 5-star players because someone coaches at LSU or Florida or Texas or Oklahoma. He's made his mark with less than stellar players and knows how to game plan. He also adjusts incredibly well during games. BTW, I'm a KU fan and not a K-State homer.

And yes, as of right now Gary Pinkel has shown to be a far better football coach than Turner Gill.

I just don't get why no one wants to give the guy a chance. It's really strange to me.

Remember when Iowa State got choose for a better Bowl game than Mizzou a few years ago even though Missouri had the better record? Mizzou is so well respected and irreplaceable.

what have you seen that indicates he deserves a chance?


Turner Gill isn't half the coach that Mangino was/is, in every sense.
