Let's talk enchanting perk tree.

I'm a little late in the enchanting game, but I did finally just get my smithing up to 100 tonight. I really want to focus on enchanting now.

Which perks did you guys opt for in that tree? And has anyone found an iron dagger equivalent to enchanting (cheap, easy, fast...). I'm pretty certain a few pages back someone said sneak is the best money return right? (too tired to go back and look right now)

What I do is save the daggers I made, enchant them with turn undead or damage stamina (best value), and then sell them for a profit.

The hardest part is just getting all the soul gems.

and

save all the rings you find because they are light weight and then enchant them with sneak. It doubles(at least) the value of the ring. Sell the rings and buy empty soul gems. Only buy empty ones because the full ones are ripoffs.

make sure you have a handy weapon to soul trap as many monsters as you can. I like a bow with soul trap because i'm a range mage.

I know of one location where you can actually mine soul gems. Not sure if there are more.

Well I've already sold all of my daggers from leveling smithing, so that one is out, but I've kept most jewelery and every soul gem I've come across so far, so I'm hoping when I hop on tomorrow I can get to work. I've also disenchanted a ton of different things.
On the disenchant note, if I had two items that were enchanted with fortify health, one for more, one for less, does it matter which of the two I disenchanted? I'm hoping I didn't get stuck with a lower level fortify or something by not breaking the bigger of the two.

No it doesn't matter. Disenchant the lower one and sell the higher one.

dwarven mine gives tons of Soul Gems

also if you get the barter enchantment you can also enchant stuff to lower your buying price. I think i buy empty lesser soul gems for only like 20 gold. I have so many soul gems now that it's starting to become a weight issue.

i'm getting my casting cost down low enough now that i can spam single cast fireballs almost non-stop and never run out of mana.

Your enchanting skill increases for recharging enchanted items as well.
