Bob Kraft Busted for Soliciting Prostitution

 You'd think a billionaire could get laid without taking this kind of risk.

@DougKyed
Jupiter Police chief Daniel Kerr just announced Patriots owner Robert Kraft is being charged with soliciting another to commit prostitution.

This was an overture to signing Tebow. Belichick doesn't want any virgins on his team thus seeking out a hooker.

This is the guy that's been Goodell's right-hand man for "protecting the shield" and enforcing an NFL moral code. What a bunch of pompous bullshit.

Mecca 02-22-2019 10:56 AM

Is it a male prostitute?

Amnorix 02-22-2019 10:57 AM

Apparently it's a prostitution ring that got taken down and a bunch of Johns got hit as well. Might be more ugly for Kraft if the women were "more unwilling" (so to speak) than usual.

I'm thinking "unwilling," "whore" and "billionaire" aren't generally words that get used in the same sentence.

As amnorix hinted, the stories seem to be suggesting this was a bust on human trafficking. Whether Kraft knew that or not, who knows. So this could get interesting.

What’s the valuation of the Patriots? Assuming it’s a trafficking case that Kraft knew about, he’ll get Donald Sterling’ed right out of the league.

I'll preface this by saying that I hate the Patriots, but at the same time...c'mon. The guy's been hanging out in clubs with young women for 20 years, hasn't he? And he's as rich as the entire cast of Friends, including Gunther the coffee guy. Did anyone think that he wasn't hiring prostitutes on a regular basis?

If the trafficking part is real, then that's obviously bad. But I'm skeptical of that, given the types of women that he can afford. I suspect that every prostitute who gets arrested these days immediately yells that she's been trafficked, because it's a complete get out of jail free card.

Why? There were some massage parlor’s busted in SWMO recently. The reports are that women came to the US promised some type of job in California, then taken to various parts of the US. They were then forced to take drugs until hooked and lived in the basement of the massage parlour.

They get busted, owner is somebody in California that local people can’t track down. One of the places reopened 6 months later doing the same thing in the same location, it will take a few months before it gets busted again.

I don't think he was busted as an isolated incident. It sounds like they are tying this to a broader prostitution ring and that many others were caught. Assume that means she was trafficked. I guess we'll find out if kraft knew. There are probably reasons why a rich guy might be interested in an "unwilling" prostitute as well.

If not for the Donald Sterling potential, I'd push all of my chips to this square on the table. And then I'd take off my watch and put it on the pile.

If this was about trafficking or prostitution, it would fizzle in a heartbeat. But it's about a much bigger issue, which is getting women to watch football and keep buying pink Tom Brady jerseys.

Seems like a far-fetched hypothetical.

I don't see why his son couldn't buy it. First, I'm not sure he has to sell it for fair market value. Why would he? The NFL doesn't get a share of the sale proceeds.

Though my understanding is that the NFL has pretty much plenary power so maybe the Commish could force him to sell outside of his family.

Nothing I'm really going to worry much about. A long way to go to get from here to there.

Jesus, at those rates they’d have to use illegally trafficked immigrants.

“Answering a questions about the fees at Orchids of Asia, Jupiter Police Detective Andrew Sharp, the lead detective on the case, said the fee for 30 minutes was $59 dollars, or $79 for an hour. He did not specify what Kraft paid. He said Kraft was driven to the parlor.”

This is what I was basing that on.

Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, is accused of being involved in sex trafficking sting in Jupiter

Now that it's been clarified to be 2 misdemeanor counts of prostitution, he's probably getting a token suspension and fined at the most.
