Yeah, Palmer had more upside in 2006. Not in 2013. Not even close.

Palmer is king of garbage time stats.

That trade may have made sense Pre-Von Olhoffen, but after he got crushed it was only a move the Faid would make.

The guy hasn't played at a high level in 5 years and the Raiders paid a mint for him.

The Chiefs make that move and they get crushed for it.

In the end, it was a horrid move that cost a #17 in 2012 and the 35th in 2013 for a QB who was showing signs he's been finished since 2009 with diminished arm strength and poor decisions.

This. There are certainly some poor throws he makes where you're like "Welp, thats due to not having the arm strength/velocity he used to have" and then there are others that are like "WTF, is this real life? ROFL"

In the end, good move with a bad result just like busting out on a 1st round QB.

Are you abusing the same Stupid pills as R8ers?

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 3m

And that is a two-year deal that former Bears QB Jason Campbell signed with the Cleveland Browns.

The Raiders will release veteran DL Tommy Kelly Wednesday. Would expect him to draw some interest pretty quickly

They would probably cut McFadden too, if he could stay healthy long enough.

Report: Jaguars the most likely destination for Matt Flynn. Bills, Raiders also said to be in the mix. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...gn=Twitter_atl

This is awesome. The sooner that DL dismantles the better. They have been kicking the tar out of us since Haley came to town.

This is kinda out of the blue....maybe whoever doesn't land the QB in the daft they want or....land the deal to trade up....

As of right now, I'd still take Carson Palmer over Alex Smith. 2012 Carson Palmer is pretty much Alex Smith's ceiling.
