It's like a shitty Natural Light version of STTNG.

Which is disappointing after hearing about how different season 2 was going to be. It's just more flat humor, bad writing, inane plots trying to hide behind pretty visuals. Not going to stay on my DVR many more weeks at this rate (not that it was on my DVR this week anyway with the Spectrum/Tribune spat).

I thought I'd check this thread and everyone would be talking about how it redeemed itself after that first shitty episode.

I thought this one was hilarious. To each their own I guess.

Not a bad episode, but I don't like the idea of the show having basically zero sympathetic characters now.

Not only can I not watch Orville right now because of Spectrum's pissing contest with Fox, but apparently I can't even get it on demand because these two cocksucking megacorporations are trying to squeeze the last drop of blood out of each other.

This weeks ep was definitely better that the last two and next weeks look like a step in the right direction. Hopefully those first two were the filler eps and they decided to get them out of the way quickly.

I might have Hulu real soon as I am sick of Spectrum and their British colony tax rates. I'm holding on for Game of Thrones, then I'm going to drop them like a day old enchilada dinner.

How can the first two be so ****ing bad and the last two so ****ing good.

Finally watched the last episode about first contact. It was lame as ****, although probably not quite as lame as the first two of the season.

This show is just about to lose my interest. It's not just Star Trek Light - it's lazy, silly and stupid Star Trek Light. The last one was like a bad early NG episode, minus the quality actors who could at least make it somewhat bearable.

Plus, the cute super strong brunette has been replaced with a not-cute super strong brunette. She was probably the most interesting character on the show. ****ers. Mercer is more like Barkley than Kirk. Gay Worf is as annoying as the new Klingons on Discovery, and the rest of them are just bleh.

This has really gone down the shitter quickly. Should be finding its footing and getting better. Instead, it's getting worse. While Discovery is getting much better. Go figure.

Yeah...it was bad. Totally implausible premise. The actress playing the new security officer looks like a former meth-head. I'm holding out hope, because even these weaker episodes look like shakespeare compared to the first two seasons of TNG.
