Well, we both know it won't stay that low for long.

It will be interesting so see what happens in the spring, when demand usually increases.

I just filled up for $1.77....in Cali!!! Tank was full after 32 bucks!!!! Sweet deal.

Something is wrong with this picture. If gas is $1.77 in California, then it should be under $1.25 here in MO. Gas is always 50 cents to a dollar higher in California. I have noticed that Missouri gas prices seem to be a lot closer to the national average than usual these days.

They won't do that anyways. IMO.

I'm not sure I would, either, considering the massive volatility in crude prices. With crude at $100+, they had plenty of extra capital to invest in new E&P. At $40 only four months after being at $147?

Well, if it was 50 cents lower when gas was $4 a gallon, don't you think it makes sense to be 25 cents lower when gas is $2 (or a little less) a gallon?

Crude could push below $40 today.

Sure-Oz 12-05-2008 02:15 PM

1.33 in blue springs

badgirl 12-05-2008 02:27 PM

Its 1.59 here in TN area where I live. I filled my Jeep up for 40 bucks. When it was 4.00 it cost right at 100.00. I hope it stays down I make about a 80 mile round trip to work and back and it really cuts into my paycheck to have to pay so much for gas just to get to work.

It's going to $25 in Q1 09....just a hunch.

$40.81 a barrel. Not exactly under $40, but it's a good possibility it could happen real soon.....

Donger 12-08-2008 03:45 PM

Crude closes up $2.90 (7.11%) @ $43.71

Frazod 12-08-2008 04:15 PM

It's down to $1.50 up here.

I continued to be both thrilled and creeped out all at the same time.
