I did it last week. Runs fine.

Just did it. Buggy. Weather refuses to show up in notification center. And when it does, it's just text. Wtf. Bad design. I want to glance to see the weather, not read three sentences.

Not happy with it. Everything else is okay so far.

I read that that phone is not bad compared to the GS4 or HTC One, but if she's on Verizon, that version has a cheaper made back plate and smaller junkier buttons. Same big battery though. I hear the tap the screen function is amazing.

Edit: Just checked again. Downloading now. :D

Been on it since Beta 2. It's solid. Oh, and if anyone is having issues with the traffic and weather stuff, check your permissions on location services.

What the hell happened to the weather widget in notification center?

Temperature is also now displayed in the Notification Center, as long as Location Services for the Weather app are turned on, accessible through Settings > Privacy.

Like I said...a bit of a step back. I use Dark Sky for weather usually anyway.

Lots of good stuff in this article at Macrumors

One thing that I noticed last week is that the phone will try to figure out whether you're driving or walking and adjust the directions accordingly. Kind of odd when you're on a bike like I was last week.

Mine are in. Still no weather update

DaveNull 09-18-2013 08:23 PM

Weird..restart it?

I had some issues under one of the betas with notifications not appearing that got fixed by wiping out all the settings but that really sucked. I had forgotten how many notifications I'd manually turned off. It worked though.

Battery life sucks. Been unplugged 20 minutes and dropped 6% already. Normally this would have only dropped 1 or 2 percent

DaveNull 09-18-2013 08:28 PM

Chill out on that one...it should get better once it indexes everything. Spotlight search (now available through swiping down on the springboard screen) is crazy fast in searching through my whole 70GB iTunes library that's there through iTunes match.

I was getting through a full day on one of the betas at a conference in vegas a few weeks ago. Really the same thing kind of goes for the traffic estimate.

That was my worry when I was watching the kids use it today. All of this "cool" stuff has to take a toll on the battery.
