how they rebound from loss and t'will be interesting to see if KU's problems really are JUST effort like Self says.

Baylor is improved from years past, and next year they will be a good team IMO. However, I think this KU team is PISSED...and will win by 15+.

Rumor on the Star BB was that he was going to be in Lawrence this week and might be ready for this game.

no offensive sets executed, no fast break plan and bad shot selection isn't going to be solved by more energy and being pissed.


imo discipline, polish and gameplan seems to be the real issue.

i think KU is mentally tough and scrappy ... they have talent and heart

they are also pretty tough on defense

but the haphazard way they run their offense is pretty bad. They don't seem to have any "feel" for passing and what the other guys are going to do.

is that because Self is all defense and attitude and we don't have much of an offense???

i don't know ... but it's ugly regardless

KU's fast break game consists almost completely of giving the ball to miles and letting him drive the length of the floor. Every once in awhile they try that "long bomb" pass... but that just sucks.
