These two huge buildings don't have a single entrance anywhere on 12th. This is somewhat contrary to the idea of getting people out on the street to use the streetscape.

Guess I never thought of that... even though he's right that there's nothing to look at, I don't think a set of doors is going to make it look so much better that people pedestrians would start using that portion of 12th Street (and the buildings certainly don't say "screw off" ROFL ). They could put a mural on the side of City Centre Square, but the real problem with that section of 12th Street is that there's no place to go, hence the whole KC Live thing. Once they get rid of the old Jone's Store (the vacant, smelly, eyesore) and start developing that area, people from the Marriott and Hotel Phillips will want to walk East, too, and not just West to the Convention Center.
