c.2005 Bloomberg News

March 2 (Bloomberg) -- The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh to a four-year contract, keeping intact one of the National Football League's most promising receiving tandems.

The Bengals didn't disclose financial terms of the deal in a statement.

Houshmandzadeh caught 73 passes last season, the seventh- most in team history, for 978 yards and four touchdowns. He and Chad Johnson combined for 2,252 receiving yards, the most for a pair of receivers in team history.

"T.J. proved last year that he could be a reliable weapon in our offense," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said in the statement. "He made plays in critical situations for us throughout the season."

Houshmandzadeh has 135 catches for 1,698 yards and five touchdowns during four seasons with Cincinnati.

Are you serious? Bloomberg is one of the biggest newsfeeds in the world. They feed everything.

I always just think of them as strictly business information, not info about everything.
