Giants, LB Pierce Agree to Lucrative Deal

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New York Giants have agreed to terms with free agent LB Antonio Pierce (Redskins) on a six-year deal worth $26 million including a $6.5 million signing bonus.

Patriots and Cardinals Agree on CB Starks Trade

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the New England Patriots are close to completing a deal to acquire Arizona Cardinals CB Duane Starks for a third-round draft choice in 2005.

Cowboys Land DT Ferguson

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a contract with unrestricted free agent DT Jason Ferguson (Jets). The deal is a five-year, $21.5 million contract that includes a signing bonus of $9 million and will pay him $11.5 million in the first two seasons of the pact.


Colts Release Veteran TE Pollard

Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports the Indianapolis Colts have released TE Marcus Pollard. He was due a roster bonus of $750,000 and would have counted $4.85 million against this season's salary cap. Pollard will still count $2.2 million in "dead money" against the Colts' 2005 salary cap.

Cowboys Sign CB Henry

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Dallas Cowboys have signed unrestricted free agent CB Anthony Henry (Browns) to a five-year contract that includes a signing bonus of $10 million. Full financial terms were undisclosed.

Bengals and WR Houshmandzadeh Agree to Terms

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Cincinnati Bengals re-signed unrestricted free agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh to a four-year, $13 million contract. A signing bonus, if included, has not been disclosed.

Vikings and DT Williams Agree to Three-Year Deal

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with free agent DT Pat Williams (Bills) on a three-year, $13 million contract including $6 million in bonus money. The deal also includes incentives that could eventually reach $15 million.

Raiders Release RB Wheatley

ESPNews reports the Oakland Raiders have released RB Tyrone Wheatley.

Rams and LB Coakley Agree to Five-Year Deal

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the St. Louis Rams have reached a five-year, $14.5 million contract with free agent LB Dexter Coakley (Cowboys). The deal also includes a $3 million signing bonus. Coakley will count $4 million against the Rams salary cap in 2005.

I'm going to need a more reputable site than Pro Football Central to confirm this report.

They reported that Dillon was a Raider last year too.

Understandable, and I was a bit skeptical to post that, but anyone was itching for news, so there you have it.

Hope it's false, based on the previous reports that the Redskins were not interested in him.
