Rock-n-Roll double header with Def Leppard and...

Bryan Adams at Community America Ballpark.

I find it somewhat amusing that these bands release a greatest hits project with 1 new song(and a cover at that)and it's considered a new release.Having never seen either of them though I may take it in,hell maybe we could make a Chiefsplanet get together out of it since it looks to be general admission seating.

KANSAS CITY – This summer, Def Leppard and Bryan Adams will give the phrase “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” a whole new meaning as they co-headline the Rock ‘N Roll Double-Header Tour. Two of the most popular rock acts to ever take the stage, they will team up for the first time and perform at 26 minor league baseball stadiums, including our own CommunityAmerica Ballpark, home of the T-Bones! The concert will take place on August 3, with gates to open at 5:30 pm and the show to begin one hour later. The stage will be set up in the outfield and fans can either bring a blanket to sit on the field or take a seat in the stands. All concerts take place on non-game days. Tickets are already on sale to T-Bone season ticket holders and will go on sale to the general public on April 2 at noon.

One of my first concerts was High N Dry.

I would love to go see them for the nostalgia factor.

Ditto, I'd go to see DL.

I saw DL at the Houston Rodeo a couple years back. My tickets were free. I got ripped off.

Worst shit I've ever seen. OMG it was horrible.

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

48 bucks to see a drummer with one arm? I can go get a DVD of midgets in a circle jerk at Priscilla's for 19.95 for christs sake.

Yeah, but that's with your Midgets Screen Actors Guild discount.

Just because you're the catcher for the Lolipop Guild circle jerk doesn't mean you can be a hater Phil.

That just doesn't look right, reminds me of the time I went to see KISS and Molly Hatchet was the opener.

That's just because you don't know much about the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. It's THE event of the year in Houston. It's 2 weeks of Rodeo and entertainment. They always have big name acts come through. Naturally, most of the entertainers are Country but they have 2 or 3 nights of other, mainstream acts as well.

This might be the worst concert bill I have every heard of.

Sorry to offend any Def Leppard fans they were a little before my time. If you are a Bryan Adams fan I have no sympathy for you. :shake:

No offense taken here,I wouldn't even consider myself a fan as I only own one DL cd and no Bryan Adams nor have I seen either of the two live.

I did think though that it'd be a great excuse for me to get out of town(knowing my mrs wouldn't go)see a few friends and drink some beer.

Oh - I'm definitely interested. Do we have to stay for the music?

I say go for it. Any excuse to see friends and drink some beer is a good excuse. Just be careful when you put your lighter in the air. :thumb:
