Hell, find two other guys that can play 1/2 the season and let them job share. At this point anything is better than what we have.

Sounds like Brown is only asking for $1.5M. Even if he just spot-fills, holds Fujita's place three weeks, and backs up Bell he'd be worth $1.5M

Brown wouldn't be my first choice, but he may have a year or two left in the tank....if we don't get it addressed by Monday. :hmmm:

We might as well just put him on IR before we sign him. He's hurt waaaay too much to waste a roster spot on.

If we didn't even sniff Trotter last year, there's no way we look at Brown this year. Take everything we thought was wrong with Trotter and multiply it to get Chad Brown.
