Opinions needed on this mockup (NOT a draft)
Currently I have a print I want to perhaps re-frame. I can frame it in a 36x24 (the current frame) or change a 28x20.
28x20 (left) will require the choppage of 2 inches off the top of the print. Which looks better to you? The gray in pic 2 is the back of the frame insert, it is not matted. http://img169.echo.cx/img169/3073/mockup1vm.jpg I'm leaning 28x20. Also there is text on the bottom of the print that prevents me from cutting 1 inch from the top and 1 inch from the bottom. Print is 30x20. |
Take that, Sarlac Pit! Ha.
I guess it depends on the wall you're hanging it on. The current fram looks fine, but the proposed new one could suit a certain wall or room motif better. |
28x20.
BTW, the color image in each of those choices is identical. |

Id use the current frame with a green and brown dual matting. It would look tight.
Having uneven white space around the picture is a design no-no. |
