I am not much of a movie buff but I wanted to see Batman which I saw last weekend and loved. I still want to see Star Wars and War of the Worlds this Summer.

IM still not sure about the casting of Jack Black. He sort of looks out of place in a period piece. We shall see.

No shit I'm so sick of all these godamn remake movies. Hollywood seems to be at the height of its laziness. They must honestly be out of ideas.

WTF is this? King Kong meets Jurassic Park?

Hollywood has run out of ideas, next thing you know they'll be doing a damn movie about Bewitched or reviving the beating that was the Herbie series of ... wait a second... they did those.

King Kong fought a T-Rex in the original.

Still ... looks like King Kong vs Jurassic Park. And, I just can't see Jack Black in a serious role like this... bad casting there. Sorta like Bill Paxton in Twister.

I have to admit that looks like it may be a good movie.

Easy big fella.... Watch the movie before you judge him miscast. I personally think he might fit the sleezy movie producer role quite well...

True, but I think part of the deal behind good casting is making you want to see the movie... I like Jack Black, but I'm not sure that trailer did much for me.

Normally, id be worried, but with Peter Jackson at the helm, you know it will be a quality film at least. He has a pretty good track record in case you didnt know.

I am wondering when they overtax the CG that it starts to look fake.
