Where are you going for Fireworks celebrations tonight?

Last night was kinda like the the 4oJ for me... went to Parental units house and collectively we blew about 100$...

good times.

Tonight we are going to Shawnee Mission Parkway for an action packed 15-20 minutes of oooh-aaahh.

Where you going?

EDIT:

Next year I want to be in an airplane flying OVER the fireworks. that would own.

Going to sit on a high hill outside of town and look down on the action.

Just got home from a BBQ at dad's. As soon as I hear the fireworks start, I'll probably grab a beer and a chair and sit out on my patio. I'm in Springfield, but outside city limits. Had quite a fews shows last night. I figure tonight to be even better. Happy 4th everyone.

There is a fireworks display about 1/4 mile away from my house.......at dusk, I'll step out the back door, crack a beer and sit on the patio.

Front row seating from my back porch.

my favorite place to see fireworks has to be over a body of water...

Nowhere, at 49 and with my kids all being in their 20s really what is the point, it is not like we will see something new.

I probably will tune into the Boston Pops and enjoy the music while watching their display in the harbor.

I just sat ouside for 45 minutes watching 4 unsupervised 7-10 yr old kids throwing bottle rockets directly at each other. While they were busy play "betcha can't hit me" the "adults" (drinking and looking to be in their early 20's at the oldest) were setting off the big fireworks in the road. I thought about calling the cops, but I just figured I'd keep an eye on them from afar and have my phone handy to dial 911 if needed. I think they ran out though. We live about 50 yards away from a fireworks stand. I think they went to beg the older kids to go buy more. Ugh!

Other than playing babysitter from a distance, I watched several little displays going on around me. I can still hear them going off.

Signal hill. Go there every year. Great view for fireworks all over the city.

Just got back from watching the Gladstone concerte and fireworks show.
For a small town they put on one hell of a good display.
