So Do We Have A Cracked Bell?

Something doesn't seem "right". Vermeil says he expects him to play agains tSeattle but they are holding him out of all contact because of his shoulder.

Something tells me he is hurt worse than they are admitting and they are "hoping" he will be ready by Seattle. Hopefully I am being paranoid but right now I say B.S.!

I really don't want to have to start reffering to KB as china doll. I was hoping to retire that nickname when Elvis left the building.

It's hard to say right now. If could be that they are being extra careful with their new toy to let him heal, or it could be something worse. I am going to wait and see what happens starting 9/11 to make the call, but as stated above, something doesn't seem right in the Bell department.

When did he get injured anyway? I know that when a player is being looked at for the draft, the player can skate being checked thoroughly in a certain area so he can get signed. Basically, see Yatil Green, they can lie about being injured and nobody knows any different.
Didn't we have Kendrell thoorughly checked out?

I've seen it before with other guys who had to miss a lot of the previous season due to injury and the team holds them back from contact too early. I'll admit I am nervous about it too, but I trusted them when they insisted Holmes was gonna be OK, and I'll trust em here...

It Sounds as if they purchased the Bell with a crack in it and they were just hoping that the crack would be fixed before the year started. I had a feeling that this would happen, but we still can't say that this was a bad pick up until most of the season has been played. If Kendrell plays 13 out of 16 regular season games, then I would say he is worth the money. We should have signed Ed Hartwell in my opinion. Cheap ass Carl Peterson!!! :cuss:

The guy wasn't able to pass a physical for the Giants.

We checked him thoroughly for spine problems... he was clear.

I'm nervous about this, as well, but 1 injury plagued season doe not make one injury prone...
