How do you think the Defense did today?

We only allowed 276 yards when the Raiders average 344.7 a game.

What do you think?

Thuper. :thailor:

They did a good job.

Bugeater 11-06-2005 08:14 PM

If the D would have been this good in 2003......

morphius 11-06-2005 08:16 PM

I was happy with their effort, I think they got a bit soft when we got a lead and soft on 3rd and medium, but other then that, solid.

Phenomenal in the first 3 quarters.

Officials screwed us on one drive in the 4th quarter. Then the D folded like a cheap tent on the Raiders last drive. I screamed a cry of anguish when Benny Sapp dropped that interception.

It seemed like the Raiders had the ball forever on that last TD drive of theirs...IM actually glad they scored when they did, because any more time off the clock and we would have been screwed. I was actually one of those screaming to LET THEM SCORE! So we could get the ball back with a decent amount of time.

A key play was DJ forcing Jordan out of bounds with 1:45 left.

A lot of guys had their best games of the year. I would argue that Washington, Mitchell, Dalton, Hicks, and Warfield all had their top games of the year, and possibly Wesley, too.

I'll take an outing like this any time. Lots of activity and passion out there.

They did great in the first three quarters but then seemed to deflate totally in the last half of the fourth. Not sure why they do that, but if they can get it corrected it would be something.

Was happy to see Washington step up...hopefully he'll get the chance to be the nickel from this point forward.

I wasn't too impressed with the run defense.

People rag on Wesley but he just keeps getting interceptions.

Same here, but they got the job done i guess.......The had a hard time tackling Jordon on 3rd downs.......oh well, i cant complain too much.....they have come a long, long way altogether....

Rain Man 11-06-2005 08:27 PM

Oh, and Browning, too. I think that Browning had his best game of the year, too.
